Terms of Use
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These terms apply to the BountyCam app and the service at bountycam.app, operated by a solo developer in Australia ("we"). By using BountyCam you agree to them.
1. Test release on devnet
BountyCam currently runs on Solana devnet. Rewards are paid in test USDC, which has no monetary value. The service is provided for testing and demonstration, may change or stop at any time, and stored data may be reset.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement.
3. Your wallet
You sign in and pay with your own Solana wallet. We never hold your private keys. Transactions you sign are final once confirmed on chain.
4. Bounties and missions
Requesters must describe a lawful task that can be done from publicly accessible places. Scouts must follow the instructions shown before accepting and capture evidence only inside the app. Do not enter private property without permission.
5. Prohibited use
You must not use BountyCam to: follow, locate or photograph a private individual; photograph children; enter property without permission or bypass security; collect passwords, credentials or sensitive personal records; inspect restricted or sensitive infrastructure without authorisation; harass anyone; impersonate an official; or take part in anything illegal or unsafe. We may remove bounties and suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Escrow, approval and disputes
A bounty's reward is held by an on-chain escrow program. The requester may approve and pay the Scout, or reject by naming the requirement that was not met; a rejection goes to BountyCam's arbiter, a person, who decides whether the Scout is paid or the requester refunded. If the requester does nothing before the review window closes, the reward is released to the Scout.
7. No warranty
BountyCam is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Evidence is supplied by Scouts; we do not guarantee that it is accurate or complete.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of BountyCam. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
